Whether your baby is already here or you're ticking down the moments until the most awaited arrival,   this baby themed favor adds an "Eggstra" special memento to your extra special day.  Perfect as baby shower favors, each Fashioncraft exclusive egg timer is 3" tall and is made of white plastic with black and red timer markings.  Sure to be used time and time again, each favor comes in an adorable green, yellow and white gingham and stripes design box with a clear acetate middle that lets the timer show through.  On the base of the box is the saying "Tick tick baby chick."  Each comes finished with a white organza bow and a round tag that cheerfully proclaims "It's an egg stra special delivery for you."

I wanted something useful for a shower favor and these Egg Timers were perfect. I removed the plastic wrap the timers were shipped in, cut the instructions from the wrap and put them back in the gift box. All the timers arrived in perfect condition.

i have purchased those as a baby shower favors. they come assembled with a ribbon and wrapped in plastic- as on the picture. which i took out - added a personalized sticker and there it ws- ready to go.

these egg timers were a big hit! We additionally attached a little card with a personalized message which was a nice touch because we adopted our baby so she WAS an "egg"stra special delivery!! We printed the message up ourselves to save money and laminated them. Pricing for what you get was great.

We ordered these favors for my sister's baby shower in April 2010. In fact, we even incorporated the "chick" theme--for example, the invites said to come celebrate the baby chick! The ordering process was fine, and the items were shipped quickly. Although the individual eggs are packaged nicely as pictured with a small white bow, the entire box (including bow) was covered in cellophane--we all agreed that this looked cheap and needed to be removed. This wasn't a big deal, but it was a bit time consuming, and it did cause the bows to be somewhat crushed. We didn't discover the second issue until AFTER the shower, when we actually tried to use one of the timers--it didn't work!!! :( After several tries, we could not get it to buzz at all. Then, my sister said that she has an egg timer which requires you to turn past the 20-minute mark and then turn BACK to the desired time in order to make it work. When we tried this, the timer did go off, although not really at an exact time. Furthermore, there are no instructions included, so there would be no way for our guests to know how to use the timers, unfortunately.
From FavorFavor: I apologize for the difficulties using the timers. Indeed,there should be instructions included and we have already contacted the manufacturer and will be including them in future shipments. It will, however take several months for them to show up in the packages. So, overall, we loved the appearance of these timers, including the very nice boxes and bows (minus plastic), but we were a bit disappointed at the performance--some sort of instructions are definitely warranted!!!

These timers came 2 days after I placed the order. They are packaged beautifully and everyone at our baby shower was delighted to take one home. Finally a favor you can actually make use of and not throw into a drawer.
