I have a car / limo service and we use quite a few of these glasses. We encountered a high breakage loss with other glasses and people tend to take the glasses with them when exiting.
Your flutes are thick glass saving the breakage concern for the most part, not to mention the clean up and liability for injury.
As to the issue of the glasses leaving with the clients...They still take the glasses but at least they have our name, logo and phone # on them. THESE ARE A VERY AFFORDABLE LIABILITY SAVING, ADVERTISING TOOL.
