The anchor placard holder is very cute but the slit to hold the card is too big. You must balance the card perfectly to keep it straight.

We loved the anchor placecard holders. They were perfect for my 4x4 double sided cards. The only problem was that the card slot is rather wide. We supplemented with a tiny piece of cardboard to hold the card secure. They were a lovely part of our nautical reception, and a nice touch for our guests to take home as a memento.

These anchor place card/photo holders were perfect for our daughter's graduation dinner from the US Naval Academy. I placed 'polaroid' snapshots of daughter with guest relating to her years at USNA and then placed at seat as a party favor. Guests loved them!

These are so adorable and we will be using these to seat our guests. The only con is the cards that come with them. They are too thin to stay in place. We opted to order personalized cards with a ship's wheel with a thicker card stock.
